Just a reminder, the server will be down completely tonight and most of tomorrow in order to complete an overhaul.  When we come back on Sunday, we should be providing a quick, reliable service for a long time to come.

We’re Back!

Everything should be working now, I’ve been test posting, let me know of any problems.

Yesterday it was fine, today the site needs a www in front of the address.  OK, as soon as I’m at home (the only place I can remotely access the server) I’ll fix it.  Must be a simple DNS problem.

OK, now it’s all working again WITHOUT the www, and even freeminded is working fine.  I’m getting a headache.

I thought freeminded had been scrapped already; but apparently not. Ok.

What about the LM webmail? Have you disabled that or has that moved to a different address? My bookmark throws up a 404 page.

Webmail isn’t available yet, nor regular mail, which is frustrating.  There is an expert who is supposed to be doing that, but we’re waiting on him.  I’m really pressing to get the mail server set up as soon as possible, as well as trying to track the details, like antivirus, spamassassin, etc.

Freeminded wasn’t scrapped because I was still giving people a chance to move things before I kill it, and I haven’t had a chance to move things myself.  I suppose I’ll have to move things and get it cleared out.

And by the way, Petro, I’m very glad to hear from you.  I was starting to worry once the site was working that there was some sort of problem for people trying to get to it.
